KC Wolf and Bullying

   KC Wolf’s career started at college at Mizzou while attending college. After college, he was asked to become Fredbird from the St.Louis Cardinals. Later on, he was asked to KC Wolf for the Kansas City Chiefs. His exact words were “I made a smart choice going to the Chiefs because I don’t look good in yellow tights.” KC Wolf has been with the Kansas City Chiefs for 28 years. Interesting fact: Dan Meers(KC Wolf) cheered for the Los Angeles Rams.
KC Wolf came to New Franklin Elementary school to talk to the kids about bullying. He mentioned the word H.I.T. He told the kids to remember this word. H stands for hurtful. I stands for intentional meaning that somebody hurts somebody physically or verbally on purpose. T is for threatening. There’s physical bullying and verbal bullying. He same the main source of bullying these days include Cyberbullying. 

  Q: What made you want to talk to schools about the topic bullying and why? A: He said his goal was to be a Character with Character. He doesn’t only want to be a good mascot, but a good role model. He has been doing this for years and he wants to continue to make and influence in people’s lives.
Q: How many schools have you spoken at and do you plan on continuing?  A: He said he had spoken at 138 schools last year including: elementary, high schools, colleges, nursing homes, etc. KC Wolf does plan on continuing talking to schools.
