The Bark & Bite
Many students this year have the chance to work with teachers and be a helpful hand when needed. Most of the positions are in the elementary classes. Madison Matney currently helps Mrs. Frericks with the second grade class. Madison helps near the end of the day, and she has gone over different subjects that the second graders are learning. The types of subjects that she usually helps with are math, science, and reading.
Lucas Storjohann cadet teaches for Mrs. Hart’s class. A kindergarten class is a force to be reckoned with, and needs as much guidance as possible. Lucas helps near the beginning of the day right after recess. The most frequent questions that most kindergartners ask is, “when is lunch?” Teachers need as much help as they can get when trying to funnel all of their students’ energy into something productive. Cadet teachers can serve a very important part in making sure that young student have a helpful and productive learning environment.
